Marchantia polymorpha subsp. montivagans
Bischl. & Boisselier

This is the relatively rare cousin of the common liverwort, Marchantia polymorpha subsp. ruderalis which is found in gardens throughout the UK. Note the absence of a black median line, present in both other subspecies. Subsp. montivagans is characteristic of base-rich springs and flushes. Photographed near Mynydd Llangattock, VC42 in February 2020.
