We are a self-study group for everyone interested in learning, recording, conserving or simply enjoying Cumbria’s bryophytes and/or lichens, regardless of experience. We arrange field trips roughly once a month (alternating between weekends and weekdays) and aim to explore a range of habitats around Cumbria. We carry out recording and are interested in seeking out less common species, but also aim to help beginners get started with recognising the common species and identification skills.
Details of meetings can be found on our website: https://cumbrialichensbryophytes.org.uk/meets/
Please let me know if you would like to attend a meeting, so we have an idea of numbers and can plan accordingly.
