Muxton Marsh, Telford.  Park at the end of Woodbine Drive (SJ 7146 1352), which is accessed from Marshbrook Way, off the A4640 in the north-east corner of Telford. There is room for a few cars to park along a straight bit of road, without obstructing driveways or the turning area at the end of the road.  Wellington boots would be highly recommended for areas which are very wet underfoot.  The ground was formerly mined for coal, and we will examine spoil-heaps and banks, wet alder and willow carr, drier woodland with open areas, and streams and ponds.
