Leaders: Rory Hodd (email: rlhodd@gmail.com; tel: 087 7692001) and Faith Wilson
This outing will explore the lower valley of the Dargle River, close to Bray, where the river passes through a steep sided glen and the gardens of a private estate. There are no localised bryophyte records from this glen, with a small handful of old records attributed vaguely to “Dargle”, which may be from here, including a tantalising record of Pterigynandrum filiforme from 1825, which is considered to be long-extinct in Ireland.
Please contact the leader if you are interested in joining this meeting and we will confirm the meeting place nearer the time.
