We will investigate the bryophytes along the Silver River valley upstream of Cadamstown in the foothills of the Slieve Blooms. River valleys in the Slieve Blooms provide a midlands refuge for more typically western oceanic bryophytes, and the Silver River also hosts some petrifying springs we might find.
