In a change of venue the group will now meet outside Prestongrange Industrial Heritage Museum, grid reference NT 37112 73645 at 10:30 on Saturday 23 October 2021 for a field trip to Prestongrange and Morrison’s Haven, probably finishing by 15:30. The walk is likely to be relatively straightforward, covering the former industrial site and the adjacent reclaimed land between the museum and the coast. There are usually cafe facilities at the Museum from 11:30.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring a packed lunch and hand lens. Please do not attend if unwell, particularly if you have COVID symptoms.

Lothian Bus number 26 stops on the main road by the Museum. There is roadside parking beside the museum
