29 January 2022 (10:00 - 16:00)

Because of the worsening Covid situation this meeting has been postponed indefinitely. Registered attendees will be kept up to date by email.

Meeting details

Leader: Martin Godfrey

Time: 10:10 for a 10:30 start until about 16:00.

Cost: Free (with booking priority given to MIDBRYG members)

Martin Godfrey has offered to lead this laboratory-based session on Dicranums and Dicranum-a-likes (all those things that pretend to be Dicranums in the field and have you fooled). Manchester Metropolitan University is allowing use of the laboratory and related equipment, kindly organised via Simon Caporn.

Session content: Martin will provide us with some teaching input initially, with the remaining session free for you to identify specimens from your own collections that you have brought with you. We will also provide some ‘starter’ specimens to get us all moving in the right direction.

Full details to be circulated closer to the time.
