Hidden wonders – Ireland’s mosses and liverworts A talk by Christina Campbell at
NBG which is free for anyone to attend in the Auditorium.

Mosses and liverworts, collectively known as bryophytes, are all around us and form a major part of Ireland’s biodiversity, but oftentimes are overlooked – their wonders are hiding in plain sight! As part of Moss Week at the National Botanic Gardens, join us for a talk on this fascinating group of intricately beautiful plants to take a closer look at their diversity, learn about their ecological importance and hear why Ireland is so special for them. The conservation work being carried out at the National Botanic Gardens to protect our rare and threatened bryophyte species will also be highlighted.
