Meeting details
Date: Thursday 20th April
The Dounalt is a steep mountainside round the corner from Corrie Fee. Though this area has been relatively little recorded for bryophytes we expect to find a good range of montaine species. We hope to be able to have vehicle access to the base of the hill to allow more time for bryologising. The terrain is steep and rocky so a reasonable level of fitness will be required and great care will be needed on the steep and rocky surfaces (and a good head for heights).
Meeting at 10.00 am in the car park at the head of Glen Clova (NO280757). Anyone interested in this meeting, please contact Lyn Jones (joneshamlyn@gmail.com, 07749 880650). Please also ensure you are familiar with the Risk Assessment (below) before the meeting.
