The International Association of Bryologists are looking for contributions from women bryologists throughout the world to their project ‘Raising the profile of women in bryology’. All you need to do is write a short biography saying where you come from, how you came to study bryophytes and why you enjoy bryology. Biographies will be posted on the IAB website initially, but will eventually be published in a special edition of the Bryological Times so that they are there for posterity.
You can read more about the project and the biographies they have posted so far on the IAB website at http://bryology.org/ and view a flyer for the project here.
Scientists, students, curators, amateur bryologists, etc. There seems to be a lack of contributions from the UK at present, so please, they would love to hear from you!
Please send your contributions, along with up to 3 photos, to Dr Chris Cargill at chris.cargill@environment.gov.au
