We are a new local group aimed at anyone interested in bryophytes within the greater London area. We will aim to create a schedule of events including talks, ID workshops and monthly field meetings (from October to April). Everyone from beginners to specialists are welcome at our meetings. To be kept informed of forthcoming events and meeting reports, please join our mailing list by registering at the above email address.

Please let us know in advance if you wish to attend a meeting so we have an idea of numbers and can plan accordingly. It is our intention to plan meetings around public transport links.

For field meetings, commencing at 10.30 and finishing around 15.00, please consider bringing:

– Good boots
– Warm, waterproof clothing
– Water and packed lunch
– A hand lens (x10 / x20)
– Notebook and/or specimen collection bags
