Park in the layby at SP382709 on Burnthurst Lane, opposite the tight bend.

Wappenbury Wood is an ancient woodland and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust reserve near Coventry. The wood was somewhat clear felled through the 1950s and 1960s, but has since been left to regenerate naturally. There are a few wet ditches which run through the north of the site. Previous vascular plant records suggest the wood is slightly acidic.
