Teri’s sculpture practice is largely influenced by nature and how we interact with nature within varied environments, whether that be in urban or arcadian settings. Her Jewellery practice mirrors the same motifs that are established within her sculptural and installation artworks and represent the same influences and ideologies that have evolved throughout Teri’s object based practice. She began making jewellery whilst studying at RMIT and fell in love with the intricate and meticulous processes that were involved in gold & silversmithing. Using primarily casting and fabrication techniques, each piece of jewellery is hand-made with utmost care and nods to her past and present environments that continue to inspire and influence her work.
